Lately, we’ve been talking a lot about Maine’s awesome summer festivals. When you’re in a place that celebrates everything from blueberries to local soda, we just can’t help but start planning our summer calendar. At the top of our list of fun festivals is this one that takes place in Southern Maine each summer.
Bug Light Park is an underrated spot in South Portland that offers wonderful views of Portland Harbor and the skyline of Portland.

And it’s open for public viewing during the festival thanks to the South Portland/Cape Elizabeth Rotary Club.
But, it’s also the site of one of the most colorful annual festivals in Maine!
