Have you ever spent a night in jail? Do you want to? Well, now’s your chance! This offbeat and unique stay in Indiana is one that you’re sure to love. If you’ve ever wanted to check out the inside of an old-school jailhouse – or maybe you’re just a fan of wineries – you’re going to want to check this totally awesome converted inn nestled in Parke County.

Old Jail Inn is exactly what it sounds like: an old jail - but also an inn.

As that implies, it was the family home for the Sheriff. It also was groundbreaking in the sense that it was one of the first buildings to use underground piping to heat its rooms utilizing steam from a boiler room located behind the building.

Nowadays, it’s… a bit different.

Upon arrival, you’ll find yourself pulled into a world of humor and camp (with a side of good times) that can’t be beat.

Oh, and before we forget to mention it - there’s also a winery involved!

It’s one of those places that feels like everyone knows you - maybe, after a few visits, they will!

The Drunk Tank offers wine tastings, too.
