There are over 100 unique trails just waiting to be discovered, all with their own special rewards. This particular Rhode Island nature hike will lead you to an absolutely stunning rocky overlook that will make you feel as though you’ve stepped into the windowsill of an old castle at the top of a hill

Tippecansett trail is located in the popular Arcadia management area.

This trail is over ten miles point to point, so we only recommend it for seasoned hikers with a high endurance level.

That said, the best views are only about .7 miles into the hike, so if you just want to see a great overlook, you don’t have to do the entire length of the trail.

To reach this overlook, keep an eye out for the junction with deep pond trail, then turn left and head upwards.
