With over 600,000 acres and endless trails to explore, the Kisatchie National Forest is a true paradise for nature lovers. Louisiana’s only National Forest is a great place for the weekend warrior to spend a few days trekking through the rolling hills and longleaf pines, and there’s one trail, in particular, that’s so beautiful, you might just find yourself wanting to pitch a tent so you can immerse yourself in some of the most stunning natural scenery the Pelican State has to offer.
