The land that is now Destiny USA was once a scrap yard, believe it or not! Construction on the mall started in 1987 and the doors opened in 1990.

Due to one of its most popular attractions, the mall was originally called Carousel Center.

The name was officially changed to Destiny USA in 2012, though you’ll still hear some locals refer to the place as “Carousel Center.” Old habits die hard!

Like most shopping malls in New York, Destiny USA is home to a variety of restaurants, ranging from quick grab-and-go spots to more formal dine in locations. The mall houses more than 30 restaurants.
