Near the Arkansas River at the end of Garrison Avenue in Fort Smith is the most adorable little park you’ll ever find. It’s called the Park at West End, and it’s a place you’ve got to see. Totally full of whimsy and vintage charm, the Park at West End is a great place to spend your afternoon or evening. In fact, from romantic dates to fun family outings, this park is a multipurpose destination. It isn’t all carousel rides and romantic Ferris wheel cuddles, though. There’s also an incredible eatery there. Tucked up in that amazing little park is a diner. It’s not just any old diner, though. The Nickel & Dime Diner is housed in a refurbished Pullman railcar.
From the moment you walk up to the park, the setting screams old-timey charm.
