In 1984, Dahnke Family Farms started out with a mere 1,000 Christmas trees across three acres. Over time, the farm’s business grew. Now with over 30 acres, this is the place for families to come and pick out the perfect tree in East Central Illinois.

For over 35 years, this farm has been a destination for families. Not only can you pick out a tree and holiday decor, but visitors can also participate in a variety of family-friendly activities that will get you excited for the season!

Among the variety of trees you may find here are Scotch and white pine, Douglas and Fraser fir, canaan fir, and more, all in different shapes and sizes. Take a walk around and find the one that’s best for you!

While you’re here picking out a tree, you may as well stay for a while and let the kids enjoy all the activities. They will love the Snowball Arena, maze, playground, life-sized games, inflatables, and so much more. There is an admission fee for the activities and to visit the reindeer.

One of the best parts about visiting Dahnke Family Farms is the reindeer stable. The North Pole Reindeer Stables will make you believe that this is the home to Rudolph and all of Santa’s other reindeer!
