Joe and Shirley Sheridan came from Ireland to the United States only in 1985, giving their Sheridan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant even more of an aura of authenticity. Their pub and restaurant, which opened in 2004, is in the middle of the town of Smyrna, about 14 miles north of Dover. The facility looks quaint and welcoming from the street and has room for 114 occupants inside and 52 guests on an outdoor deck in the summer.
The line to get inside is not always as long as on St. Patrick’s Day, but the pub is a popular place.
