But while most restaurants offer a few flavors of shakes on their already loaded menus, The Yard Milkshake Bar makes them the main attraction. But be warned — the creations here are both highly addictive and impossible to replicate.

The Yard Milkshake Bar opened on the Vancouver Waterfront in June of this year.

The concept was founded by husband and wife team Logan and Chelsea Green.

Logan Scott / Google Both Logan and Chelsea come from families of entrepreneurs, and Chelsea and her mom already owned an ice cream shop. While they opened the first location in 2017, they went on an episode of Shark Tank in 2019. That’s when their popularity exploded.

Chelsea Green knew she wanted her dessert shop to be like nothing else in the country, and she decided that specialty milkshakes should be the focus.

This is not a place to bring concerns about calories, sugar intake, or anything other than having fun.
